Hi, I would like to build a speaker cabinet with an original design (e.g. torqued, double-triangle (see the very-draft picture), etc) but I don't have a CNC. Any ideas/examples on how to do the wood-work? Thanks a lot |

Such a construction will create very big problems with the sound! It is good to read the basic rules when designing cabinets / including the parameters of the speakers /. P.S. You can get an idea at this address: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=5755 Joro |

Just for the wood-working part (not the project which of course must be the 1st thing): A 'simple' way is to cut stripes fo MDF and glue them together one on top of the other. If glued properly and pressed it will be VERY resistant (more then the actual MDF)... An example can be found in this YT video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1qTWq2tNcyY&t=68s It also includes some tricks for veneering I made these: Attachment: Enjoy_resized_small.jpg
