One of these days I am going to post my mods of the JVC.... damn camera cable is lost!

I can use the output of my D/AC to drive my amplifier without any problems, I think allot of the opamp out put cd players can do the same as long as it is a voltage output, or wait is it current or voltage output types that can drive directly?

My Mini 12AU7 Tube Preamp, Pioneer SX-D7000, JVC XL-V221BK, JBL L80T, DCM TF700

I have the same Denon CD deck, and would like to try my hand at upgrading the power supply and output caps. While I have decent soldering skills, my ability to interpret an electronic schematic is quite limited. Is there any way you could identify the location of the specific caps to be replaced? Perhaps by referencing the ID numbers stenciled on the circuit board? Thank you very much....I'm very curious as to whether I will hear the same improvements that you describe.
