merging two schemes I got a lot of high-quality phono preamp, you can play with resistance at the entrances transistors 1M-decreasing gain.
You can change coupling capacitors ... I have not changed anything from the scheme

However, Enjoy

The Le Pacific is a simple and quite good cct. to build and enjoy. Take a look at what Boozhound labs did with it. I think they have improved it. Also with this cct. try adding just 50ohms from source to ground.

HI,
I'm fairly new to DIY Audio.
I just built LDR based preamp using Tortuga board, which is a volume control unit and nothing more. Then I needed a phone stage, so I built one from BoozHound Lab. But I have a very little volume with this setup. My volume control on Tortuga is all the way up but I only get a quiet listening level. Any body out there with any suggestions?

By the way, I'm getting all your intention for showing 3 pictures; the 3rd picture shows 2 JFETs vs 4 JFETs in fixtures 1 & 2. Am I seeing correct? Are you getting more gain at output? Please excuse my ignorance in electronics; I'm learning slowly @ age 63.

Daniel
