Hi Folks, Got a machining question here. Those Ebay/AliExpress amp cases use M3 and M4 hardware. Does anyone know if the pitch is 0.5 or 0.7 ![]() The reason is I have some mismatches from seller "oopsies" and am going to buy some taps and make useful cases out of them with the existing hardware they supply. (that and Imperial socket-cap-head screws are getting astronomical as they're being phased out for metric, which are falling to pennies) Thanks for any help! |

Thanks, Bruce! 0.5 is standard for the 3mm, so I'mma assume standard for the 4mm as well. The jobber taps for once-in-a-blue-moon use aren't expensive - $3 each. I may as well get both, then use the other for trade with a machinist buddy. Cheers! |
