I'm building a Velleman P4005 based amp and am looking for some layout help. Do I need to wall off the amp (grounded metal) from the transformers and power supply? Are there any rules about most any aspect? Thanks |

Hello Alan, The reason you have no answers is because the question is to vague. It sounds like your asking !how do I build an amplifier. you need to show some pictures of what you have and what kind of chassis you are thinking of building. Give people some ideas what you are using it for and what you hope to get out of the project. Ie wood chassis, metal chassis or combination of both. What material you are using what transformers, capacitors and if the circuit is on a PCB or hard wired. Draw a picture of your ideas of the internal build then people will comment in constructive way and say what's good and bad about it. Where do you want to put controls and connectors. Regards M.
