Emmy Lou Harris, "All I wanted to Be". Vinyl (the CD doesn't have the presence of the LP) several great tracks. My Shop system really doesn't do justice to it though. (Sota Moonbeam with Jelco 370H and AT 33PTG/II, Simaudio Moon LP3, Marantz 2250, Yamaha MTMs, Acurian powered sub). The track "Beyond the Great Divide" is stunning on the Martin Logans.

Good listening

Hi, It is whatever suits me at the time. I like classic rock, folk music, jazz and other stuff if it is recorded well. With hundreds of LPs and CDs I could probably start today and listen for 8 hours a day and not get through the collection in 20 years. Still, I collect more at second hand music stores. It is truly amazing what you can get for under a dollar. Some months back I got a batch of LPs (mostly in excellent shape) for 10 for a dollar. Stuff on Phase 4, Command, RCA and so on. Some I don't believe were ever played.

Good listening
Bruce

Since I have a few Pi music servers I have been listening to many web radio stations.

Ajazzdream is a bit of a mix of different music. Middle of the road type. Some good and some not so. Good background stuff, nothing serious.

Post subject:  Natalie Merchant - Tigerlily (MFSL Gold CD)

It had been a while since I purchased a CD and when I came across this one, I just had to pick it up. I have this album as a 24 bit / 92 kHz high rez FLAC but it's one of my favorite albums so I picked up the fine pressed CD as I like to use some of the tracks from this album for reference.

OMG I have this as 180gm, 45rpm double LP. Cost me a fortune.

Hi, listening to Diana Krall...Stepping Out. Really nice LP. About half the tracks are music only. They even got the piano miked well for once! That has been a sore point with me for some time BTW.

Good listening
Bruce
