Rohan,

As Dinesh alluded to, take no shortcuts when studying the safety aspect. It's one thing to make a mistake in assembling an amplifier by soldering a wire in the wrong place. You have an amp that may not work. It's another matter entirely to get yourself electrocuted to death because of lack of knowledge of working safely.

Sorry to seem so gloom and doom, but I don't think that is overstating the truth.

Cheers,
Greg

thanks greg,

i think it'll be a really long time before i get into 240v mains voltages and i keep away from voltage dividers or any high voltage systems. Till then, i'll master or um.. try out different audio circuits with low voltages only :)

thanks

I would suggest Sennheiser Momentum or Philips Fidelio.Myself own a pair of Superlux HD660 150ohm and built myself a very neat Class A Mosfet Amplifier HA-PRO but that included a lot of changes and tweaks.
I can tell that these superlux with feromagnet ,sound better than a pair of Sennheiser HD568.

Hi, For a free PCB / schematic program check out Express SCH / Express PCB they are on the WEB. For individual use they are rather good. Because of my commercial needs I had to switch to Eagle. I built my first diy electronics at age 14 .... a simple one transistor amp followed by simple tube based transmitters about 2 years later.

Good listening
Bruce
