The VLA II would be a steal as a balanced tube buffer if Compressor could be bypassed. Can anyone suggest how this could be done? Or any other mods such as swapping out resistors to increase plate voltage, swap caps, use equivalent but lower gain tubes? http://www.artproaudio.com/art_products ... pro_vla_ii
