NAD Service Manuals and Schematics

Chances are you are here looking for a service manual for NAD gear that you own. Well, you are out of luck. Keep this in mind the next time you are looking to buy audio gear. There are plenty of companies that conveniently and freely offer up Service Manuals for their products. It appears that NAD does not want to be one of them.

At the request of NAD Electronics / Lenbrook America we have removed the NAD Service Manuals and Schematics from this site. Here is the email we received from them asking us to remove the manuals.

Notice of Claimed Infringement

I, the undersigned, state UNDER PENALTY OF PERJURY that

 - I have a good faith belief that the listings identified in 
   the addendum attached hereto, offer items or contain 
   materials that are not authorized by the IP Owner, its agent,
   or the law, and therefore infringe the IP Owners rights.  This 
   is Confidential and proprietary information and not allowed to 
   be posted on your website.

 - The information in this notice is accurate.

Please act expeditiously to remove the listings identified in the
addendum.

We promptly pointed out to them that the NAD Service Manuals clearly state that "The information herein may not be used commercially without the prior written agreement of NAD Electronics International, Toronto, Canada." and that we were not using these documents commercially. No surprise, we never got a response back from them on that mater, just another notice to remove them.

Since we have no interest in fighting with them (or indirectly promoting their products), we have removed the NAD Service Manuals.
